Submersible Level Sensors
The SEN-SUB-15P-TD and SEN-SUB-30P-TD pressure transducers feature piezoresistive technology housed in a compact, all-stainless-steel design. With stainless steel wetted parts and high customizability, these robust transmitters are well-suited for a wide range of demanding applications. Sensors come complete with an SP21 connector and are ready to attach to the ReignMaker, VTL or Monitored VTL controllers.
Measurement principle
Submerged in the liquid, the sensor measures hydrostatic pressure to determine level. The SEN-15P-SUB-GAM and SEN-30P-SUB-GAM variants use a silicon piezoresistive core as the sensing element, with an integrated IP68-rated waterproof design suitable for long-term submersion. Both housing and diaphragm are built from 316L stainless steel for corrosion resistance, with a 4–20 mA output, ±0.5% full-scale accuracy, built-in lightning/surge protection, and a debris deflection system.
What it measures
- Hydrostatic liquid level / depth (0.5 m – 200 m range)
- Pressure (4–20 mA output)
Typical use cases
- Level measurement in tanks
- Wells
- Rivers and lakes
- Primary and secondary settling tank level monitoring
- Sludge depth measurement
- Process control automation
- Chemical storage tanks
- Refineries
- Manufacturing process vessels
- Groundwater level measurement
- Marine research applications
- Watershed monitoring systems
Pairs with the DCon Controller (X-412) via 4–20 mA. Specifications sourced from manufacturer documentation.
