Ultrasonic Level Sensors
The SEN-LVL-140-485 and SEN-LVL-500-485 ultrasonic level sensors provide non-contact, highly accurate liquid level measurement for chemical tanks, diesel fuel storage, and a wide range of industrial liquid applications. Built for durability, these compact and robust sensors are engineered to withstand harsh environments, including exposure to aggressive chemicals, acids, and bases.
Measurement principle
Non-contact measurement using a chemically isolated piezoelectric transducer. The sensor has a measuring range up to 10 m (32.81 ft) with a 0–12 in (0–30.5 cm) deadband, provides a 4–20 mA output signal, and updates at an adjustable rate of up to 20 Hz (50 ms). It carries a NEMA-4X / NEMA 6P / IP68 protection rating and operates from -40° to 158°F (-40° to 70°C).
